Paul is the founder and Director of Ecotide. He established the business in 2003 and it has been successfully assisting organisations and individuals in environmental and business improvement initiatives ever since. In 2015 Paul took up the position of Director of Ecotide, and continues to oversee the company’s strategic direction.

Paul’s employment over the past 30 years has been two main industry sectors of environmental and emergency services, both in Australia and internationally. He has gained a broad range of experiences as both a practitioner and senior manager in these fields.
Paul has travelled, worked and lived overseas in Asia, North America and the U.K and can offer additional experience in understanding with working in cross culture projects. He is also a founding member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ).
Nicholas Symons – General Manager
Nicholas is an environmental consultant and has been with Ecotide since 2009. Nicholas specialises in bushfire management and assessments. In 2015 he was promoted to the position of General Manager of Ecotide.
He completed his studies at Monash University, graduating with an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Environmental Science. During his studies, he developed an understanding of the natural environment and an ability to critically assess environmental strategies and policies.
Nicholas has a personal interest in Japanese culture and history and has travelled to Japan on multiple occasions. The exploration of this foreign culture has highlighted to him the importance of cultivating personal relationships and understanding different perspectives.
